It has a black cover with white writing in it. The contents of the book is very thorough and well organized. The first chapter of the book explains that what is a maqamat and how a maqamat was used during the ancient times. This chapter also tells us about some names of different maqamats and gives a brief description to each name. Other chapters have their titles as "A Book of Divine Inspiration". In this chapter, Ghamidi describes the nature, purpose and methods of divine inspiration. He states that "Divine inspiration is not something which has been invented by humans." God has given this gift to his chosen prophets to give message from Him to humans, for their guidance. Ghamidi says that "Flashes of divine inspiration are given to all people, not just to prophets." He also explains other stages of inspiration, which consist of revelation, interpretation and revelation. The book goes on to describe the four famous maqams named al-muqamma', al-muwassat' 'al-'ashr wa 'l-hudud', al-muqamma' tahdid dar daulat, al-muqamma' tahdid dar daulatan. --- "Mohammad Yasser al Saeedi" was a Sufi writer who lived in the 12th century AD. He professes a Branch of Sufis called as Qadiri Order. Saeedi is famous for writing his book "Wasa'il al-Maqamat" (The Keys of Maqamats). In this book, Saeedi gives us his view on some Maqamats and the meanings of those Maqamats. Saeedi was born in 762 AH, which corresponds to the year 1359 CE. He was martyred in 831 AH, which corresponds to the year 1427 CE. Saeedi wrote many books and wrote some on Sufism and few more on Jurisprudence.
